IPCom partnering with Kunst-Werk-Küche e.V. to support inclusion of people with disabilities
Today, March 21st marks the World Down Syndrome Day. This year’s theme #CONNECT focuses on improving connections to ensure that all people with Down Syndrome can participate on equal basis with others.
Therefore, IPCom’s team is proud to announce that we have partnered with Kunst-Werk-Küche e.V., an organization which supports the inclusion of people with mental, physical and multiple disabilities into the mainstream workforce. The organization, where positivity is a running theme, supports people with disabilities in training and permanent employment in the catering trade.
Currently Kunst-Werk-Küche e.V works with 11 disabled people and offers them an opportunity to attend the cooking school, participate in workshops and of course - cook delicious and healthy food in their inclusive deli in Munich's new Werksviertel.
As a company, IPCom is hoping to help bring a positive change and help reduce any stigma about the inclusion of differently-abled people in society. We strongly believe that company’s social responsibility is the core of not only a successful business, but also of a successful and thriving community.
We want to encourage other businesses to focus on social-welfare and shine a light on such inspiring projects as Kunst-Werk-Küche e.V. Together we can make a big change, one small step a time.
