LG and IPCom Reach Settlement Agreement After Longstanding Dispute


LG and IPCom have signed a settlement agreement, bringing an end to their disputes that have lasted quite long. Under the terms of the agreement, LG and IPCom agreed to resolve all legal cases relating to patent infringement and nullity in Germany.


In a statement, Managing Director of IPCom, Pio Suh, expressed satisfaction with the resolution, saying, "We are pleased to confirm that LG and IPCom have finally reached a resolution that also includes all of IPCom´s assets. This settlement is a demonstration of the commitment of both LG and IPCom to respecting and protecting intellectual property in order to foster innovation, and driving further investments in research and development.”
